Set off through two sides of whacked out bliss courtesy of Lena Willikens & The Pheasantry Society. Cohesion and expression feature throughout, trawling the outer reaches of all corners of music while keeping one heavy foot in the world of weirdos. Something to dance to, something to think to, something to disappear to.

Lena’s side meanders through mutant industrial lost from the old time, freaked out vocal curves laced in twisted synth nastys and playful dancework. The path begins in a beatless zone and drifts in and out of rhythmic musings, easing through tempos t

The Pheasantry’s Society’s contribution bends relics of foregone medieval echoes into stripped back bizarro electronica and back through dark ambient spaces. Cluttered with forgotten instruments and dipping occasionally into the niche yet familiar, the side is a quest through industrial scenescapes and renaissance soundstyles with many surprises along the way.
